Description:
Founded in 1915, the Engineering College of Horsens is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Denmark. The College focuses on four main fields of activity - civil engineering, export engineering, mechanical engineering and continuing education, all of which combine to provide the technical, educational and financial basis for the existence of the College. Other activities include the admission course, research and development activities, international collaboration and a very comprehensive technical library.

Why? The campus where I was living was the best place for erasmus students

The housing is excellent. There are many new dormitories and still more and more students who come for studies

Horsens is a small city in Horsens. VIA University Colllege is well known is the students' environment.As for nightlife, there are places such us school bar which is the best place for erasmus students. There are a lot of things to do and there is a great atmosphere although it's not a big city.

The University is mostly adapted to international students. The courses are of high quality and knowlegde is put into practise each time.

English is a language that is mostly used at the University because of the International students. I didn't have any problems with adapation and I get used to speaking English every day.

Denmark is an expensive country and so as to study one year I had to reconcile learning and working to earn my living over there
