Type of housing: Dormitory
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Dormitory
Why? That's the best place which can provide intercultural situation. And I can learn European coulture and also possible to compare between Western European culture and Central European culture.
Personal comments:
They offer very economic proce for student. And it is possible to contact to Polish people easily. Also, It is very easy to organize International meeting such as tandem, circle and so on.

How much did you improve your local language?

My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
Personal comments:
The communication culture in Poland was interestingly different from that of Finland. Polish people had more small talk in day-to-day relations than Finnish people, while still being more no-nonsense and down-to-business in business settings. This was an educational paradox that widened my personal perspectives on variations in communication habits between cultures.
