Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? because the university campus is far off the city and although it took me some time to get to the university I think the experiences I made were worth the effort
Personal comments:
as I didn't live on campus there is nothing I can say about that

Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
I loved the music and relaxed social scene of Toronto. Grossmans was an amazing bar to check out local jazz/rock/blues and the gypsy co-op had a cool vibe.

Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
It is better to live downtown and share a flat with some friends...But maybe not the first year because life on campus is great to meet people
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
Well don't forget that Toronto is a pretty cold city...The winter is very long...But you can also enjoy it (ice-skating, skiing...)

FINAL COMMENTS

The Algonquin park, pretty close to Toronto is wonderful especially during the fall...Don't miss it !! New-York is also pretty close by bus... And of course the famous Niagara Falls !!
