Overall
They'll do anything they can to keep your money, including cancelling your class and not issuing you a refund. Instead they give you a non-transferable credit note that is good for 12 months and increase their prices. They don't even follow their own cancellation policy. The administration is horrible, completely inflexible and they make things up to suit their needs. They care much more about taking your money than teaching. You can be put into a class of up to 12 students, which makes the already steep price you pay completely not worth it. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but Alliance Francaise. There are several other reputable French schools in Ottawa. If I could give this school less than 1 star I would.
