Overall
I really enjoyed my intensive course at LAE Madrid. It was a great experience to learn Spanish and the teachers here are excellent. Thanks, Jaume, Belén and Isa! I felt very comfortable and enjoyed my classes which gave me confidence to speak Spanish and express myself easily. I really improved my Spanish a lot! The classes are small (only 4 students!) and very enjoyable, as well. In addition, I loved the Spanish Adventure Program especially making Gazpacho and Noche de Copas. Noche de Copas was organised at a nice low cost bar (which is important to students ;-)) and is an excellent way improving your Spanish while meeting your teachers and classmates outside the classroom.
Everyone at LAE Madrid is very kind, helpful and supporting... the teachers, the staff, everyone! Just ask Karmen if you have any question, she always helps you finding an answer! I highly recommend La Aventura Espanola!

Overall
LAE was a perfeclty effective experience and was the perfect place to really hone in on my language skills. The class was basically conversation, which in my opinion is the most effective way to learn foreign language. The staff was energetic and was able to incorporate lessons and practice through speaking. I would definitely reccomend LAE to anybody who wants a safe and non judgemntal environment to not only be immersed in Spanish culture, but also to meet great people and build confidence in your language abilites.

Pros
What was most effective was the constant conversation. There were also points where we practiced reading and writing. The balance of everything was probably the best part.
Cons
At the end of each session there was a point where the different levels met for debate and more conversation. I would like for this to be allotted even more time.

I just finished a Spanish course with LAE Madrid and I couldn´t recommend it highly enough!

The teacher was friendly (but effective) and I could feel a definite improvement on my Spanish after each day. The location (Lista) was also great, with loads of shops and very close to the centre of Madrid.

If you can, I really recommend taking part in the activities that take place after lessons - they allow you to practise your Spanish in ´real-life´ situations and you get to know Madrid itself.
