Academic
Course recommendations
AIT library is very small. Not good. To get relevant books you often have to go to Chulalongkorn or Mahidol libraries, which are 1-2 hours away... AIT library is not an adequate university library. Friendly staff though, but way too few books.

Expand the library.
And move the garbage dump!! and stop the neverending noisy maintenance work on campus! Disturbs your studies.

Most people loved it.

Personal recommendation
There are many other places to study where the living conditions are much nicer. AIT campus was annoyingly noisy. Everyday there seemed to be some noisy repair work going on.... The course was interesting and enjoyed my studies, but the living experience on campus was not comfortable.

Because of the student accomodation and noise near the student dorms I would recommend people to think twice before studying at AIT.

I totally agree with 'screenboy' review. Campus is very noisy! The student accomodation maintenance office is right in the basement of the E dorm. Very noisy every day from neverending maintenance work! And yes, the location of the garbage dump is also unbelieable, in the student village. Stinks badly. Can't imagine how anyone can live near it. Overall, campus is very boring, and too much noise all the time from the tennis courts and badminton courts and from maintenance work. Always.
Was very disturbing. ALso, the standard dorm rooms are very small and hot! No aircon!

There is a student cafe on campus. But pretty boring place. AIT is very boring. And takes one hour to go into bkk, so can't go into bkk too often when you are busy with assignements.
