Unveiling the Impact of BME on My Career Journey
Luca K
Hungary,
Business Studies, 2023
Overall
I had the privilege of pursuing my higher education at Budapesti Múszaki és Gazdaságtudoményi Egyetem, which is an institution that has consistently demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. As a graduate of Regional and Environmental Economic Studies with Masters Degree, I am excited to share my experiences and insights into the university.
The university's reputation for providing quality education is well-deserved. The faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment. The curriculum strikes an effective balance between theoretical concepts and practical application, preparing students to excel in the ever-evolving business landscape.
The university offers a range of internationally-focused programs and encourages cultural diversity. The exposure to various perspectives has not only broadened my horizons but has also equipped me to thrive in multicultural professional settings. Bme offers a vibrant student life that extends beyond academics. The campus is a hub of diverse extracurricular activities, clubs, and events that cater to a wide range of interests. This not only helped me strike a balance between academics and leisure but also facilitated valuable networking opportunities.

My stay in Budapest has been an interesting one, really. Never been outside of my home country but the chance to come over to a different society, meet people of different culture was too good an opportunity to turn down.

Overall
I have found that really interesting. Challenging a bit in a sense, it is different way of teaching or method of teaching to what I have been used to though out my Educational life. I do find that very interesting and I couldn't be happier for this opportunity, where I have a chance to really improve myself in my field of studies and see how I can use that to impact society around me.

If you want to meet many international people and make a lot of fun and not spend to much: this is your place. There is so much social life that study becomes less and less important.

Strong university with good career opportunities
Kevin S
Hungary, Graduate
Engineering, Mechanical, 2021
Overall
BME is Hungary's most recognized technological university – the predicted standard of expertise may be quite high, as this implies. Many teachers are highly trained professionals in their profession and keen on teaching. Laboratories are well designed, but there are differences – often student laboratories look a little outdated, but if you start working on a project, you can most likely work with high-tech equipment if that's appropriate for your study.
