Coventry is a very fun city to live in and Coventry University organises nice activities and offers several facilities.
Coventry is only 20 minutes away from Birmingham(2nd biggest city of the UK) by train, you should definitely visit.

Government assistance
Other sources of funding:
Personal savings
An ERASMUS grant
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits

I also used the opportunity to travel to London, Birmingham and Manchester a few times, that is why my travel expenses were higher. I did however walk to school everyday (30 minutes) so did not spend anything on that.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Getting in contact with other students proved to be a lot easier for the students living on campus, students with private housing had a harder time fitting in.

Personal comments
The neighbourhood was not the safest and the house was very dirty but the overall experience was pretty good. The price/quality rating was good, especially considering I am a student I should not complain.
