I wish I had known...
As a Swiss make your Residence Permit long enough in Switzerland already. Because I had to extend mine in Denmark, which was very annoying and time-consuming.

Final comments
Copenhagen is a good base for trips all over Scandinavia. I made several trips to Sweden, and also to Tallinn (Estonia) and Helsinki (Finland). Public transportation is good, but rather expensive.
