*staying one semester is too little, if possible stay at least two semesters *be prepared to meet people from all around the world but hardly from the country you are visiting

*try to live in a dorm *focus on the courses quite a bit, they are great *take part in the buddy programme, introduction week and other international activities, they are helpfull and fun *don't miss the international evening at the cellar bar

*try to get a bike (used) and rather pay a little bit more, it'll save repairing expenses *public transportation is expensive, figure out quickly what suits best for you *go see Stockholm, Gothenborg (Sweden) *I went to Tallinn, Estonia and it was just wonderful * Norway is nice but very expensive; ferry trips though can be quite cheap

Danes speak English amazingly well, many also know German. It is really difficult to learn Danish as you hardly ever truely need it
