Nightlife outside Lyngby is amazing. For those who are fond of pubs and discos Copenhagen is far more interesting than Lyngby

Personal comments
I think that the standards of living are in general high regarding all types of housing at DTU. Perhaps some of the places are located too far from the university and this should taken more carefully into consideration when rent is to be paid. In such cases one should pay significantly less than someone located near the university in a place of a comparable standard.

Denmark is a country where English is almost a second mother tongue so it was very easy to communicate with everyone and everywhere

Personal recommendation
This is a university where the courses are of a very high standard. A perfect place for those who want to benefit from the academic point of view. For those who want to earn money it is also a good place. If you want to have fun, Spain is cheaper and better

Final comments
When you are buying a telephone card please be aware that the amount of time you have on your card theoretically is very often much smaller in practice. Traveling in Denmark is extremely expensive, so I woud suggest buying a second- hand bike immediatelly upn arrival. There are police auctions in Copenhagen where you can buy a bike for a reasonable price

Personal comments
While following a course and forming 'scientific groups', a teacher should suggest being in a group composed of students from different countries. This improves interpersonal skills and enables looking at certain issues from a different point of view, which in turn may enhance creativity and our knowledge about different cultures. I believe that in the future international work will come into play, so the ability of working in an internatonal group will become a very important skill
