Obviously being with other foreigners that don't speak your own language oblige you to improve your english (for me). Playing volley ball was for me a really good opportunity to improve this language. Indeed we are an international team: i play with irish, german people, and my coach is italian. And through the lectures, and team works, it is necessary to be able to express our ideas in english...so i would say that in general i really improved my level, as in oral communication and writtings

Personal spending habits
I spend more simply because life in dublin is much more expensive than where i live in france. As far as housing is concerned dublin is the first most expensive city after london i think, and because it is an island, most of the products are quite expensive. Moreover in france i had a car, whereas in dublin i take the bus or taxis, and those are expensive as well.

The European program is really good, through sport activities it is really easy to meet new people, foreigners or irish. But in the student environnement it is easier to meet foreigners...mostly in 3rd and 4th years.

Final comments
Globally this experience abroad was and is still very useful. It makes people be more mature, you discover such a lot of things, first you become more independent, then you meet a lot of new and very interesting people...well i think i will even try to get a job abroad in UK or even further.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because it is better to be independant and living with native people is the best way to learn a language.

Personal comments
Housing in the university is quite good, clean, well organised, but the problem is that after midnight only people that live on the campus can enter the accomodations. that is not an advantage for student social life.
