Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
It is the best way to integrate into the university life but also into the town itself, so you get the best of both worlds.

I was lucky to get a nice appartment in a nice area close to the university and local amenities. However the rent for my room is quite high copared to some of my friends and what they have. The bills for the electricity are expensive and the heating doesnīt work that well.

Well, for students, I would say Wednesday nights are student nights at a bar called TAS TAS ad Thursday nights at El Cine. With the university there is always something that they are arranging (day trips, weekend breaks etc)which should not be mised and the salsa classes!!!

Personal recommendation
Itīs a small university with few students than I am used to but nonetheless, itīs alright. i t took me some time to get to used to it, well the whole experience but you learn to like the place. The teachers here are well equipped in their field so they teach their subjects well.

Make sure you are well of the obvious expenses you will incur. Make sure have all your medical checks done before leaving your country otherwise you will have to deal with more complicated proceses in the foreign country. Take all your essential that you will miss because you might not be able to buy them abroad. Most of all, get to know the people and enjoy yourself!

Personal comments
Make sure that you donīt go spending all your money in the first few weeks. Make a plan on what you are sure you will need to spend your money on then make an allowance for any unexpected, ast minute expenses (like going on trips with friends, visiting other towns and cities).

I definitely say that the best way to learn a language is by studying. I nt his particular environment not only do you mix with the local comunity but also with the students which is the most important part. It is here that you benefit the most from your language learning.
