Be prepared to study like you never have before if your German is not up to par before you arrive. Also the matriculation process is terribly complicated, be sure to have someone who has done it before help you.

“An international University with excessive German content”

Overall
I have enrolled at the University of Tübingen two years ago. Although the subject has an interdisciplinary focus, apart from a handful subjects, most of the others are in German language. So, basically we are mostly limited to fellow linguistics subjects. The lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable. Most of the courses are challenging.

I think that Erasmus is a very good experience to open your mind and to lern a lot about others cultures. In tubingen it was very very beautiful cause there were people from all over the world

buy a bahncard 50, with the student discount it's only about 100 euro, you will save 50% on all regular priced train fares. it was well worth it.
