Regarding to communication experience, it was a good choice to come to Slovakia. I learnt a little bit of Slovak, I improved my English, and I had the change to know another languages, as italian or portuguese.

Most teachers spoke better German than English! The level of English was quite different from very good to satisfying, but almost everyone spoke enough English for everyday communication.

It was ok to communicate with young people but it is common that the older people do not speak English and German . I will recommend to learn some basic phrases in Slovak.

i couldn't improve my English level so much, since the lecturers' English level wasn't so good either, It's adviseable to learn some basic words in Slovak language

I mainly spoke English because Slovak was very difficult for me. outside the university I spoke a little slovak but made it with english and german.
