4* for the study program International Management
Diana S
Germany, Undergraduate
Business Studies, 2019
Overall
The courses are very broad in the study program international management, it reaches from law, to mathematics to accounting, logistics, marketing and HR. All of the parts of business are covered in this study program. Furthermore, there is one semester abroad included in this study program which is good for an international experience that is needed in this field. All professors have previously worked in their field of studies, so they are all very experiences and have practical experience which is useful since it's easy for them to link theory and practical work so that the lessons are actually crucial and useful. A lot of international students (40% of the study program) make it easy to always keep in touch with the international aspect. The support is good as well.

It is quite small town, but one which doubles in population during the semesters. I found the lecturers and fellow students to be friendly, open with a great love for meeting people of other nationalities and walks of life and personally gave me a great insight into the academic and business of another country.

Overall
I really enjoy studying here. I study business psychology and most of the courses are really interesting. All the other students are really nice and the city is small but also very charming. All in all I would definetly recomend to study in Osnabrück.

Course recommendations
In hindsight, the experience was very leisurely. I now feel it should have had more weight behind it in terms how serious we should have taken this study period in Germany. Having said this though, compared to our German colleagues, who have the option of what exams they take at the end of the year, the UK version of the course was and probably still is much harder as we only had 4 years to complete it! On average it took our German colleagues 6 years!

The university offers a lot of interesting courses including interdisciplinary projects. It is really modern and close to a botanical garden. The city itself is quite vivid and has a lot of places to go to.
