Because Iwould have the opportunity to choose a house/flat closer to the city centre and live in a better/newer building.

The student dorm was not owned by the university, however it was recommended in the university website. The pictures of the facilities that were advertised in the student dorm's website were not representative.

Because i was independent and could cook and clean my house and study whenever i wanted to.i was totally free and could concentrate on my own studies and life.

The university provides housing for students in residence halls, most of which are quite bad. Finding a flat oneself is a lot better in Berlin.
