Quebec is a bilingual country : in Montreal, everybody speaks (quite) perfectly French and English. Unfortunately, the two communities live quite separated one from each other : quite a pity. Anyway, you can speak English or French, depending on the place you go, and it's great ... In the Unviersity of Montreal, French speaking required (all courses in French). English courses are in McGill Univ. or Concordia.

Spent more on nightlife because I went out more! (Alcohol is more expensive) Spent more on travel because I travelled more than I usually would, though it is definitely worth it! Housing is very very cheap, almost half my rent in the UK.

A lot of study cases throughout the semester. Sometimes a little bit difficult to cope with it when you're an international student who wants to travel and enjoys its journey but, at the end, it's all right

housing is relatively cheap compared to the uk, as is food, but we ate out a lot more. travel was more expensive just because we did more of it-it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to see some amazing places
