rue St. Laurent is the best place to go for nights out, really busy, lots of places to go, great atmosphere. For somewhere more classy, the vieux port has great restaurants

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
it was cheaper, we had a lot of space, the apartment block was very secure, we were in a safe area, and some of our friends had problems with the on-campus housing (no kitchen facilities)

Personal comments
we heard a lot of bad things about the on-campus accommodation but the apartment that we found, off-campus but still close by, was fantastic

bank machines other than the one belonging to yoyur bank charge you for making withdrawals-a bit unfriendly! so beware of that. also you have to add 15% tax on to every price you see
