Course recommendations
- chose french classes => a lot of international students only spoke English and didn't improve their French at all. I didn't care too much about the subject but more about the language

Personal comments
As suggested in the field for classes - I mainly spoke French in class and while participating in sport activities. With most of my friends (since they where exchange students as well) I spoke English. But involvment in clubs, sports and parties helps to get to know french people as well.

Personal comments
some of the buildings are pretty old and not in good shape; the rooms have enough space but the light is not too good; there is no cooking facility available; shower is shared with a co-douche (the person in the room next door) and WC is on the corridor.
