In the university as the language of instruction was English, we could speak easily with all students and teachers. Outside the university, Dutch people speak English fluently so it was not a problem to be understood in any situations and topics. They can easily switch of spoken language.

Despite of the rent quite high, the housing was well-located, internet connection was perfect and as exchange students lived there too, the atmosphere was multicultural and enjoyable.
