In Netherlands nearly everyone speaks English so from that point of view i didn't have problems, but I would like to learn Dutch for work and personal perpouses but the course at host school was more than ensufficient even though it was a obligatory subject

Almost everybody speaks English so it was quite easy to get by. I was pleased to learn Dutch and it was also a great opportunity to learn or improve other languages with the other international students.

In The Netherlands, it is very easy to get by with English. However, the locals really appreciate it when you make the effort to speak their language. Dutch is also very interesting to learn.

The communication have been easy because the most of the dutch people can speake english well and even in my university the classes have been given in english.
