Telephone - The culture of using phones was different and most of my frineds did not even have a phone. Accommodation - The rent was cheaper then in Helsinki. Nightlife - The prices were lower then in Finland. Travel - I wanted to travel around when I had the chance to do it easily.

Contrary to some student I didn't open a bank account: since may 2002, there is no extra charges for cash dispensers in the Euro Zone for its citizens.

I spent less money in travels because even if I traveled a lot the flights from Bremen are a way less expensive than flights from Madrid and the possible destination countries are much more.
