Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
All features mentioned above were satisfactory, I enjoyed living with other students in my appartment, but having my own room.

Personal comments
Very good, possibility of choosing depending on price-standard-distance from school. Public transport from places that required using it was very frequent.
Ida Aalbergintie accomodation is a little bit too far away (ca30min by bus), but it is rewarded with low cost, nice appartments, nice neighbourhood.

Overall
I wish I had known...
In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
They take a very good care of exchange students, organise a lot of different events for them or exchange students take part in overall funny activities (eg. Beerrally)

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
Half a year is enough to stay in Helsinki/Finland, unless you meet wonderful friends as I did (other exchnage students). Finnish people and culture is very alcohol oriented: every single possibility is used to get drunk.
