it was difficult that Brussels has 2 official languages. so I couldnt improve my French as much as I wanted to. but as a native German speaker I could improve my capability in at least understanding some Dutch

because the standard of living is far higher in Brussels than in Eisenstadt, the nightlive is better and as you dont know the country you must travel for seeing something of your host country. Telephone costs were lower because all students could arrange to take the same provider.
