I wish I had known...
EHSAL is a dutch university, that means you shouldn't talk french with the administration staff...And: it is helpful to follow a dutch-course at the university (both for inside the university and off the campus).

Don't change the way you care about the students! We could always ask questions and never felt helpless. That was a great advantage!

Final comments
Going to Brussels for the Erasmus-exchange was the best decision of my life. I had a great time, met many people from different countries, the teaching at EHSAL was great and the activities that were planned by the university were numerous and brilliant. Tip for future students: join the ESB, they plan a lot of trips and show you around Brussels and Belgium!
