Course recommendations
If you plan to study for a whole year, it is possible to obtain a double degree. This will give you advanced options regarding courses. If there is any course that is offered at the University it is possible to take, even if the course is outside of the program. The director of courses is very helpful.

the system could be made more proficient, especially in relation to teaching methods. coming from a university that has a slightly different teaching strategy i would say that the length of periods could be adjusted too.

access to resources could be upgraded, especially with reference to internet access. academic life was interesting though, with teachers being available for consultation, or just general discussion in most cases.

The Netherlands is cheaper to live as a student than it is in the UK. Perhaps this would be different when living and working? When one does not have to taake into account of Income and direct taxes and strong pound means the price of goods are relatively cheaper abroad. Saying that, removing exchange rates from the equasion Holland is still cheaper in real terms in many areas. The only area where there is parity is when going out, bars and clubs are quite expensive and comparible in price to UK.

In Arnhem the bus service is good. So use it. Buy a Strippen card, this will give you more journeys for less than paying everytime you use the bus. Buy these from newsagents, and try using your ISIC to get the student price. This is a further reduction. However, you are not really allowed this as you will not hold a Dutch Student travel card. Depending on the driver (most don't ask) you will get away with it because you can claime you are an ignorant foreigner who didn't know. Buy a train card too. for 100 guilders/£30 (not sure what it is now in Euros) you will get reductions on you ticket fares. This lasts for a year and allows the card holder and up to 4 others to travel. All benefit from reduced fares. Its very easy to visit places in Germany and beyond from Arnhem. The mainline train from Amsterdam to Frankfurt stops at Arnhem. Koln is near by to and is wortha visit.

The computer and internet facilities were less than to be desired and i also had a reaserch based e-commerce module. I would improve my academic experience by making access to the internet more readily available
