Personal comments
It has been pretty good but I don't know why I had to answer twie the same block of questions regarding the improvement of my language skills.
We had a Franch intensive course in the first month. Then we had a regular course with a tremendous stupid teacher, who epitomises "The Stupid, The impolite". Good learning by attending regular courses (not so much via French courses)

In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Come in the summer. I came in January, and it was bad. Everything is already running, integration with local students is completely negligeated. In the summer they have much better activities (trips during the language course, for example)

Final comments
Avoid coming any time other than September.
Don't trust what a French says: my friends have problems with their jobs. Believe them only when it's signed by them (and even so, don't trust too much)
Commercial services are dreadful. I'm coming from a third world country and I can say that it works way much better down there. Why? Salespeople respect you, working time is much broader (here, in the supposed second biggest city of France, markets close at 8pm the LATEST and of course don't open on Sundays).
Tuesday is the official day of strikes.
Sunday is the official day of protests.

Personal comments
They charge for 3 months and disponibilize the services for less thant 3 months. Plqgued by strikes (France). You pay for meals even in vacations time and you don't get it. In summer they literaly kick you out of the residences. They have places available, but the director of hosting services has decided to kick out the people during july and august. Real estates are thankful to him.
