You are very free.Many nice places to live in Budapest.By the way, there are no room on campus (only for the student from the US)

Every exchangestudent get a Buddy. He/she will help you to find notes on the walls(with describtions and tlf), and call for appartment for you. I recomand to share an apartment with some more students.

Because I need space just for me. And it has to be silent what it is definitely not in the dormitory.

The dormitory is really cheap (about 30 euros/month) and near the university. Hungary is renovating its dormitories through PPP. My flat was in the same street as the dormitory. So it was not loud and near to the university.

It was an enormous flat, very cheap, that I shared with 2 spanish students. It was pretty close to the university, and all at a very good price.

good oppertunity to get to know a lot of exchange students if you are sharing a flat with other exchange students or opportunity to get to know people of host country if living with a domestic student

at first i thought the dorm wasn't too good, but later onve you get used to it and the people it is just great!
