Sometimes, as you re not familiar with it in advance, some things DO surprise..for example, we agreed with my employer that they pay first wages by cheque..So I go to the bank with that cheque..but something s not ok..so I have to wait that money a very long time..with no money, basically..Generally, from finnish perspective, it seems that a french administration is quite..different..All in all, these bank adventures we re quite often very surprising..also, those bank machines ate my Credit Lyonnais card..and it took SO long to get a new one..but hey..it s just fun..at least looking in hindsight..

Yes, I had a problem with France Telecom. They charged me a huge amount of money, but after sending letters and emails, they sent me back the money I paid too much. Make sure you have some money on another account that you can access to and maybe ask for a creditcard..just in case!
