in the first period that i was here in ireland the comunication with the other people was really difficult. With the time the comunication became easier and funnier. Now i can't say that I know very good english but I can understand and speak with the other people.

The problem of learning the local language was the aggregation of most international students in one course and the missing of locals in this course. I haven't expected this before. You cant learn english from other foreigners.

The most shocking thing was the Irish way of speaking english :) I thought I was pretty good in english but after arriving to Sligo.. it was a shock :) but after a while I got used of the language and learned to like it

I think thqt foreign studient should be mixed with local studient to improve their language and to force them to speak only the "new" language and not their home language with other foreign students.

at the beginning it was difficult cause'..irish people speak very fast and have an accent..and they have their own slang so it was difficult to understand them but right now it's ok...

I went in Ireland to improve my english, because before it was very bad. But i met a lot of foreign students and Irish students, so i spoke english every day, at every time.
