The only where you can go after 12 midnight is the T&C (Town and County). The best disco is the ENVY where most (irish) students goes to.

It's cheaper to rent a private house with other people. Student villages are expensive.

Final comments
Go to the trips of the international society, it's very funny. Save your money for the Rag-week. The first two month are very expensive because you must buy many things. If you are a smoker, give it up!! It's too expensive.

If you speak every day english the language after 6 month is not a problem. you can speak with everybody and everybody will understand you (more or less...).

In Ireland you pay more tax for cigaretts, alcohol etc. The food is more expensive! But clothes are very cheap.
