This university is rather disorganised, but if you are an independent person, this would not cause any troubles.

Great location to study culture, sociology, and the arts

Overall
As I was a student who studied social science especially focused on the cultural industry, London was such a great place to study. During the time there was a protest led by professors in universities across London, in part they showed the genuine side of higher education these days. Also, they wanted us to be learnt the real meaning of education as my major was a part of the Education department.

apparently studenthouse organise really cheap travels for students (Scotland/Isle of Sky etc.); also coach travels are not too expensive when you invest in a coach travel card which is about £10

The academic and social life is pretty good, but be patient with the administration staff. They seem to have offices for everything, and many times you can feel lost with all the burocracy: it took them eight months to send my marks!!! (they seemed to be quite disorganised sometimes,...)

It's not very expensive to fly to London, but moving around once you are there can be. Take advantage of the student discounts for travel cards, movies, and so.
