There was no one who spoke my language in the place where I was living, and that helped a lot to improve my English. I also took a course on English at the university, which helped to correct mistakes.

Personal recommendation
The academic and social life is pretty good, but be patient with the administration staff. They seem to have offices for everything, and many times you can feel lost with all the burocracy: it took them eight months to send my marks!!! (they seemed to be quite disorganised sometimes,...)

It's not very expensive to fly to London, but moving around once you are there can be. Take advantage of the student discounts for travel cards, movies, and so.

Personal comments
It's difficult to find accomodation in London, and this hall was really central, although a bit expensive. There was an accomodation office at the university to help you, which was quite nice. I didn't like some of the Hall rules about guests, but apart from that, the place was quite nice.
