To improve schedules so you can choose subjects you really wanna study, not just choose based on their time availability for me. I had to combine subject to reach sufficient amount of credits, which was also not easy.

Kotka is located close to Russian border, so it was nice to see St. Petersburg or Tallin in Estonia. However, I would reccomend others to study in Helsinki.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Around 15 students shared one small kitchen corner, which was neither convenient nor pleasant. The dormitory itself was pretty far away from the school. Internet connection was not available at rooms, only in kitchen/living room.

They offer shared flats, but mostly for regular students, not exchange ones. Closer to school, better equiped and with internet connection.

Best part of my studies was the Exchange -program; I studied 6 months in Prague as an Exchange Student. The School supports Student Exchange and makes the process as easy as possible for everyone.
