I had no significant problems communicating. True, at the beginning it was a bit more difficult, especially reading academic material in a language other than my mother tongue, but at the end it was all right.

London and LSE especially is a pkace where there is a diversity of people, so even if you cannot speak so fluently, there is no reason to feel bad for this-overall,you can communicate easily!

I came to London with two years of schooling in English behind already, but three years at university here have improved my profficiency immensely -in that sense it has been priceless

My English language skills are very good, because I went to High School in the US at age 17. However, if you are used to American English, it's difficult to adjust to British English.

I had a proficency level before going to LSE. The opportunity of going to London enabled me to improve my English, as well as learn the slang versions. Now I am totally fluent.

It was abosultely beneficial and crucial for to improove my english proficiency. Interaction to an international level was very helfpul when it came to use my language skills with people that were mothertongue but also with people that learnt english in other countries.
