Overall they were very good. Just be aware that some of the offerings have the same cost but do not have the same benefits. Priarily, there is usually a trade off between location and quality of the accomodation.

Reality is, you DO have to study quite a bit if you care about your marks, however, this dose not mean one cannot experience lal that london nite life has to offer. Local students will always be a help. If you like a pint every so often (and in london it is quite often) the LSE bar is fantastic as is the bar in high holborn apartments. As far as nite clubs are concerned, pick up a Timeout London. It is the Londerners BIBLE to going out at nite. Also, do you best to see all that the city has to offer. The guide 'London A to Z' should be a big help

Academic
Course recommendations
Some of the advanced Economic courses are VERY intense. Don't expect to have much free time at all if you take these.

Rigorous though not at the same level as full time LSE students. It is a summer programme after all.

Final comments
The LSE summer programme is excellent for udergraduate students, graduate students lookin gto fullfill certain requirements, career people looking for additional credentials or just about anyone who is interested in a rigorous and demanding summer programme that still leaves plenty of time to pursue leisure options. Highly reccomended.

Personal spending habits
Opportunities or nature of the city means that I would spend more on food and drink but less on accomodation. OVerall however, it was roughly the same in terms of expense.
