Living on Campus was great but if I were going back I would look for a flat/house in Carlton (University District of Melbourne)

During the first semester I lived in Menzies College close to the campus centre. It was very easy to meet people and build a social network. However, the noise level - especially at night - and the cleanliness were disappointing. This was the reason why I moved to Graduate House at the beginning of the second semester. The rating above applies to graduate house which I can recommend highly. Living on campus is very convenient but it has its price.

I was pretty well informed (home university and International Programmes Office). However, the Visa Application took longer than I expected, so start early.

Tasmania is the most wonderful spot on earth, I've seen so far. Don't believe people/travel agents who tell you that 3 days are enough.

Living on campus is a unique experience for european students as it is very different from what we experience in our home country. It's also the extraordinary opportunity to meet and live with people from all of the world (Chineese, Indians, Europeans, Americans...!). It's a culturally extremely rich experience, unvaluable!

It's very well located and taken care off. It's old buildings with their disadvantages sometimes, but it's also what gives them all their charms!
