I wish I had known...
a lock for bikes is really expensive in Sweden, so if it´s possible take it with you from your home country.

There is quite a lot of course literature to buy (try to lend it from the library or buy it second-hand) and read(you need a good planing)!

My exchange semester was the best experience I've ever made. Try to travel as much as you can in Sweden but also to Danmark, Norway, Finland and Russia (I really can recommend the organised trip there!).

Many travel opportunities, even last-minute. Many opportunities to have fun in the nations : try everything ! Most practical things are managed by the host international desk : it's esy to settle there...now just take the best of it !

Lund is a real Student City and the athmosphere really nice. The city itself is old and very beautiful. Differs a lot from other cities in Sweden.

Overall
It is a high-level uni with talented students and top professors around to help us. But like other things in Sweden, this uni lays low in the area, not showing off. Very intense programs.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because sharing facilities is good in the beginning for socialising and making friends, but is I shared kitchen bathroom etc with 15 people and that is a bit much. An appartment with a couple of friends would be nice if I were to go back.

Personal comments
I was disapointed when I first saw the place. Just a room (15m2) with old ugly furniture. But i was the cheapest place and quite central, and the international housing office did not bother that much about how late we partied etc. A good place to start of.
