Academic
Course recommendations
Actually in Russia students do not get to choose their own courses, the schedule is already made for them, most courses are compulsory. Only foreign languages are optional.

Mostly the assesement is through oral exams. So you should be prepared for all kind of questions! The important thing is to show the professor that you are interesting. Sometimes it gets too personal, but that is their way.

It is not a university to have fun. You'll have to study A LOT. Six days a week, a lot of homework and big assignments.

Final comments
I really recomend living on campus. You'll get to meet different people who can really help you with studies. You can easily borrow notes and books. And another thing try not to mess up your relationship with professors, they note you by their personnal judgement.

A very nice on campus hotel-like residence. A room for two people with a bathroom. One kitchet for the entire floor. The room provided students with all the necessary furniture. No equipement.

In Moscow there are a lot of must-see museums. Especially i would advise to try and visit as many theaters as possible, great cultural life. As for the nightlife - absolutely horrible. It is dangerous and unsatisfying.
