I wish I had known...
I wished I had more time to travel to the suburbs, and got to know the city more instead of hanging around with just the student places, but due to lack of my own transport, this was a problem.

Since I already spoke English and knew some French, I thought with the shor time span for an exchange program, I would probably be able to improve my French a whole lot more being in Montreal and taking an intensive French class, than if I had gone to another country and had to learn the local language from scratch.
