Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
A lot of the international students chose to live on campus and in this way you get to know people fast. Living completly alone can get a little lonely and living on campus allows you to just go and knock on other peoples' door.

Relationships with the campus management were difficult; loads of bureaucracy etc. Tiny rooms with relatively expensive prices but the ambience with other people living there was good.

As I had to look for my housing, I can say that no help is given by university. But, there is a student association that help foreign students (if they need help) finding accommodation.

Small but sufficient. A bit costly for what you get but a great place to get to mix with other french students outside your class group.

Too many parties or - "squats" on the campus, if you want to party all time it's good for you, but if you'd like moments of silence for learning, better not live there! You're never alone!!
