Maynooth is a very small town with only 3 local pubs, so the nightlife is very repetitive. But Dublin is only a 40 minute train ride away. The students here are quite friendly and know how to have a good time.

As far as Pubs in Maynooth go, there is not much on offer. Going to Dublin in the evenings is defenitely the better choice, although getting there and back takes a while and night buses are quite expensive.

The Roost and the Glen Royal hotel provided the most pleasant experiences for me as far as night spots and pubs went.

My favorite spots were the Roost and Glen Royal hotel. There was never a wrong time to stop by the pub for a pint.
