Course recommendations
Their is a bit of a divide between local and exchange students, as local students mostly think exchange students are not serious about work and are only here to travel.

The workload to be more fluent per module. There were a lot of work clashes within modules alone let alone with your different modules.

While the university is staffed by intelligent and competent teaching staff, I have used Google and YouTube to learn 80% of the time.

Food at those "Hawker Centres" and at the Canteens on Campus was pretty good and really cheap and i think this is common in Asia. Accomodation was much cheaper than in Milan but I think there were some agreements with the ubiversity. The phone bill was relly expensive.. I left my girlfriend back home and we wanted to talk every day..

Personal comments
I would highly recommend the residential colleges (CAPT, USP, Tembusu, etc.) because mostly locals stay in them so it's a great way to meet & interact with locals. They are also relatively new facilities in a really nice part of campus. There is a meal plan and the food is ok.

Personal spending habits
When doing an exchange, one gets to know many people, so one goes out more often. Singapore is also a good place to travel around in very cheap South-East Asian countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand...
