Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
It was very nice living there with all my fellows. The neighbourhood was very nice. And it was the cheapest way of living there although my schoolaship wasn´t enough to pay it.

When I arrived I already had a house because the university found one for me, and this was pretty nice. It was very nice to live with all my fellows arround like a big family. There were some students organizations close to us willing to entertain us. The only bad thing were my flat mates, realy weir people, but I managed and I could have changed if I wanted.

Most people found it pretty expensive, but coming from a country rather high price dimensions I could not complain at all. Furthermore you find a lot of facilities at as the university sports club and shops close to moholt campus. And downtown you can walk or share a cab with friends for almost nothing.

Although I would prefer, as a second time, to live in the center of Trondheim, not in the campus again, I remember fondly the people I had the chance to meet. I also got the opportunity to travel to another continent (Africa), later on, thanks to a flatmate I met in this amazing year. In the overall the campus was an excellent choice due to the required reasonable budget and the fact that you were close to other students.

It has not so much to do with the place but my preferences. I'd rather live in an apartment as a common student rather than in a student village with other erasmus and exchange students in order to experience the norwegian lifestyle.

the choice made, living in the student village was obsviously a cheap option and helped you to know people from all over the world and join different activities. It is quite close to the university as well as downtown and you had any services you might need.
