I sincerely do not recommend this school
Alinda
India, Graduate
, 2021
Overall
To anyone who is about to consider going to Polimoda, don’t. I was due to go there to pursue my Master’s in October 2020. However, it got postponed due to Covid, and I am glad it did. I realized that the management had withheld information from me about the course requirements. Plus, they had also started giving out 50% scholarships to those who were applying much later than I did, for the same course year. Besides withholding information and behaving erratically about money, the school’s management stopped responding to my concerns. I sent a request seeking to withdraw my admission and was met with no response. I reached out to the Italian Consulate to assist me, and upon their questioning, the management stated that they had always been in touch with me. They are unprofessional, unethical, and raise serious questions about the quality (and legitimacy) of the school.

I went there for one semester and I am never going back

Overall
The students smoke weed and then come to classes. It was unbearable to seat next to them or have good quality communication. The quality of education is very poor. I would come to class and seat there without the notice that the class got cancelled. And it happened a lot. There is no professionally in terms of respecting time: teachers are late to classes. The tuition is a lot of money. The quality of food is very poor, there is no real cafeteria to seat and eat properly and it is important for students. There are a lot of homosexual students and teachers in the campus. Homosexual students talk openly about sexual activities they do and I would rather not listen to that.

You pay the Lab, not in education
Sheng
Italy, Undergraduate
, 2021
Overall
Personally speaking the Laboratories are very nice and very new. The alumni profiles are not bad but the education is insignificant. They work more like a company but you are paying them so think twice before signing up. Teachers are not up to date and they try to understand today fashion scene without a real experience. For them Polimoda come first, the students are secondary and for a school is shameful.

Overall
The university is very interesting is based on learning to work in group, and prepare us to the work environment by giving us very practical exams, as the realisation of a fashion performance, the development of a fashion collection,  but also completing line sheets, working on licencing projects, as well as  buying and merchandising.

Careers
Polimoda provide us with some connections, but only in the fourth year, so before of that we have to find something for the summer.

Pros

Cons
They could test us as well on individual projects, instead of only group once.
