I wish I had known...
A car would have been helpful, you need to walk a lot!!! I lived 15 minutes from campus which was alright. It was a 20 minute walk to the train station and a 25 minute walk to the supermarket. it wasn't fun carrying all the bags home. Besides, I was kind of stuck in the evenings. Trains are not necessarily very reliable. I had a car at home, I could have taken it...Unfortunately I did not know. Be prepared to spend a lot of money!

Nice place, great building, fine campus. Housing was alright, classes were good, teachers were very nice and helpful. I would go again, I would have loved to stay a little longer.

They have a good website with lots of pictures. We travelled to Brighton and Oxford which was fun! Going again I would try to live in Staines think because there is everything there. Close to London - great on weekends, we went there a lot. Direkt train connection to Waterloo takes 35 minutes!

I loved it, I had a great time and made some great friends. Definitely go there if you like a small university with a community atmosphere but still want to explore London.

Make the most of your time there! Because it is a small university, getting involved in Campus life is a must!!! Right from the start, join a lot of clubs at fresher's fair. You should also make an effort to go to London (and elsewhere in England and Europe) as much as possible!

The social life is performed in the campus (whcih is very big); it is not easy to spend time in London since it is 1 hour from the campus (a walk and 45 minutes of train..)

Overall
Studying International Management at Royal Holloway University means having access to great and knowledged teachers and lectures with a competent team for any assistance you'll need.
One of the greatest campus you can find with also a main central old castle like Hogwarts in Harry Potter.
One big library that may even be bigger know because they were working on it while I was studying,
Football, Rugy and Tennis field and also a great gym with many of the equiments you could require for your workout
One club with decent music and two bars to relax after your classes .

Try to have enough money to travel around Europe during the Christmas or Easter break. Its really worth it, as you can get cheap flights from London (with Ryanair for example)and you can stay with friends you met on campus. It's the cheapest and funniest way to travel. You can also use the HOST organisation for international students in UK. This organisation finds families for you to stay if you want to travel in different part of UK, including Ireland and Scotland.
