Apply for a tutor, it can be very helpful in the begging of your experience.
If you are only going for one semmester, choose the summer to study in stockholm.

Although I had opportunity to learn Swedish, the course I was doing was in English and so Intensive that there wasn't enough time to go for Swedish lessons.
