In Tampere, there are many good bars such as Passion bar, and Cafe Europe. Also, nightclubs such as Onnela, Bebop, and Trendi are the best places to go to in Tampere.

Course recommendations
The universitys in exchange with each other should have a similar course pattern and with the university of Portsmouth and Tampere Polytechnic, that has not really bee the case unfortunately.

Personal spending habits
For travelling, I wanted to visit many places such as Tallin, Stockholm, Riga, Russia, Norway, and Lappland, hence travelling costs rose. I was phoning to freinds and family in the UK on many occasions, increasing my telephone bill due to international transactions.
