I spend a lot of money in trips, because once you are in the middle of europe you have to take advanntage of it and know other places. Food was very cheap. In Germany there are some very cheap supermakets (Aldy or Plus) were you can buy a lot for very few money. On telephone I didnt spend much money because we used to meet each other via facebook or talk via Skype, so I didnt use my handy for long conversation.
Going out in the night can be cheap or not, depend on the places you go or what you drink. Yo always had to pay to get in but the student places are quite cheap.
